Singer Kwinter has always felt it was important to take a leadership role in the community we serve. Over the years one of the ways we have done this is by sponsoring local events. Sponsorship is something we take great pride in, particularly for those events that champion education for patients and the healthcare community.
Below are just a few of the events we have had the honour of sponsoring:
Singer Kwinter is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST). BIST delivers vital programs and resources to victims and families dealing with the consequences of brain injury. "The mission of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto is to enhance the quality of life for people in the City of Toronto, living with the effects of acquired brain injury through education, awareness, support and advocacy". (Brain Injury Society of Toronto)
Singer Kwinter is proud to support the Toronto Rehab Foundation in the areas of brain and spinal cord rehabilitation. "Toronto Rehab is a member of the UHN family, and is Canada’s largest academic health sciences centre dedicated to adult rehabilitation and complex continuing care. As an international leader in this field, we have taken bold steps to dramatically improve outcomes for patients and their families. At Toronto Rehab, we embrace the potential of our patients, and work with them to maximize their results. The courage of our patients inspires us each and every day". (Toronto Rehab Foundation)
"The St. Michael’s Hospital Head Injury Clinic (SMH HIC) was established in 1987 to manage and treat patients who suffer from traumatic brain injury during the recovery after acute care. The head injury clinic is the largest of its kind in Ontario, servicing over 1300 patients per year. This clinic is an interdisciplinary team of experts including a neurorehabilitation specialist, a physiatrist, a neuropsychologist, a neuro-otolaryngologist, a psychiatrist, a clinical nurse specialist/case manager, a social worker and research coordinators."
